Spotted Hyenas

Spotted Hyena ( Crocuta crocuta) also known as the laughing hyena, is the largest species of hyena and is native to Sub-Sahara Africa. Known for having one of the strongest jaws in the animal kingdom they are skilled hunters and often mistaken for being solely scavengers. They have complex social structures that are more closely related to that of a primate family than other carnivore families.
