Arctic fox fun colorful balls
Tigli is an Arctic Fox that came in May of this year. As soon as the weather started to warm up he lost his white winter fluff and sported his gray summer coat until we had our first cold front roll in and it seemed as if his winter fur appeared over night! We love the fluffiness! Most of the foxes in captivity originally come from fur farms. Young foxes are sometimes sold as pets and before long owners grow tired of caring for them to which they are abandoned, released or passed around to various homes. As a sanctuary we provide a forever home to many different species of animals who have unfortunately dealt with some hardships. We provide fun enrichment to stimulate their minds and keep them happy and healthy! Tigli is playing with a big bucket full of colorful balls! We place food items at the bottom to which the foxes dig through to get the intended treats. Tigli was so happy with the balls he didn’t even care about the treats at the bottom!
